Run the Los Angeles Marathon for Team Peyton's Project
Peyton's Project was selected to charity partner with the 2020 Los Angeles Marathon. Join our team, run the marathon, raise awareness and help find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Each mile of the 26.2 miles will be dedicated to a different DMD patient. We are running for those who can't because we want a world where they can.
To be part of a Los Angeles Marathon charity team, each runner is obligated to fundraise for the respective charity. Our runners have an obligation to fundraise $1500 each. The purpose of the fundraiser is to spread awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) while helping to fund valuable and necessary research to find a cure to this terminal disease. If the runner chooses to simply pay the $1500, that works, however it does not achieve one of the goals which is to create DMD awareness.
The fundraising amount provides a running uniform, coffee mug, t-shirt, and marathon entry fee.
