Help Warrick

enjoy life with a track chair

st-debug-image-2-1.png

Warrick is a typical teenage boy who loves the outdoors, especially the beach.  Unfortunately Warrick is no longer able to participate in the activities he enjoys including camping, fishing, hiking, playing in the snow and going to the beach. He loves playing in the water at the beach and building sand castles.

Warrick has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a terminal muscle wasting disease which causes his muscle weaken over time to the point of immobility.  Sadly, Warrick is no longer able to walk on these terrains and his scooter can't navigate them.  The good news is, there is a way to help Warrick and his family participate in all the activities he’s missed out on.  We can help bring joy to a little boy and his family who just want to give him the best life possible.

Please help Warrick’s family purchase an all-terrain track chair.  This chair will provide him with independence and freedom to participate in outdoor activities with his family.  Unfortunately, track chairs are not covered by health insurance as they are not deemed medically necessary.  We believe life is more than just watching from a bedroom or hospital when there is a way to participate.  Peyton's Project is helping Warrick fundraise and purchase a trackchair.

They need your help.  Please donate to help Warrick and his family create memories to last a lifetime.
